The Concept
For the highly productive TRUMPF punching technology, it is not only
important to have a fast machine, but also rapid readiness for production and
the use of tools with a long working life.
The well-thought-out TRUMPF tool system enables tools to be assembled in tool
magazines, independently of machines, which can then be inserted into the
linear magazine in one simple maneuver.
Naturally good maintenance is the decisive factor for the long working life of
the tools. For a minimum in maintenance costs, you can insure the best
processing results and a high level of tool availability.
The Tool Environment
Tools which have been ground as a maintenance measure last longer!
When setting up and grinding your tools, TRUMPF will provide support in the
form of the multiset ITM tool setting device and the quicksharp ITM tool
grinding machine.
The advantages of the quicksharp ITM tool grinding machine can be seen in the
quality of the grinding process and the user-friendly operation:
-Simpler, safer grinding process
-Simple tool tensioning
-High surface quality for long operating life
-Integrated tool measurement
Tools are clamped directly in the machine.
Angled punches (Whispertools) can be aligned conveniently outside the
grinding machine, parallel to the processing level. You can read off the tool
lengths measured on the digital display. The tool clamping also enables
mounted Multitools to be sharpened.
Area Of Use
The quicksharp ITM has been optimized for use on straight and angled TRUMPF
tools in sizes I and II.
